Company Overview
The Desert Foothills Library is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit library offering full services to the public. Established in 1954, the library is located in a 20,0000 square feet building in the heart of the Town of Cave Creek, Arizona. In addition to a public library, we offer over 1,000 programs a year for adults and children, have a passport acceptance office and Chapter2Books, the largest used book store north of the 101 freeway.
Being privately funded, we are able to offer meaningful volunteer opportunities and currently have aover 150 volunteers.
Company History
Established February 14th 1954. The Library moved to the current site in the mid 1970s and between then and now the building has grown from 2,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet.
