Company Overview
GLSEN Arizona believes that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education. We are a local chapter of a national network of educators and students working to make this right a reality. We train, organize and empower school communities to create safer and more affirming learning environments for LGBTQ+ and ALL students in K-12 schools.
Our research and experience has shown that there are four major ways that schools can cultivate a safe and supportive environment for all students, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression: Gender/Sexuality Alliance (GSA) clubs, Supportive Educators, Comprehensive Policies, and Inclusive Curriculum.
